To create the watermark action, you will need to record each step of the process by applying the watermark manually and Photoshop will take note of what you do. So, to begin, you need to select a full resolution image from something you have shot before, and open that up in Photoshop. Open up your Actions window by clicking on the icon shown in the image. The action is in record mode and anything you do from now on, will be recorded and added to the action.
Next you want to bring your watermark into Photoshop.
